SPORTS HALL FEATURES

MAKE EXERCISE MORE ENJOYABLE WITH US

Polyurethane flooring offers excellent shock absorption, making it a much lower-impact surface for playing sports on. It also provides consistent ball rebound, and good grip which reduces slips or falls. The seamless design offers improved safety with less tripping hazards.

PREMIUM FLOORING

Our competition lighting provides clear, uniform illumination in the hall which reduces glare & shadows for better object tracking. Clear and consistent brightness aids faster reaction times, as well as a clearer view of the pitch markings on the floor.

COMPETITION LIGHTING

Our sports hall is the perfect size for sports practice, events and competitions due to its size. Measuring up at 21.5m x 15.5m, the space allows for 2 courts for racket sports, as well as the whole hall hosting practice for football, cricket & netball sessions.

SPACIOUS COURTS

Acoustic panelling on the walls has drastically improved the ambience in the hall, allowing for improved focus during play, as well as clearer communication from coaches or leaders. Clear communication is essential in sports between players & coaches.

JOIN COPMANTHORPE RUNNERS

Friendly & Welcoming.

Established in 2025, Copmanthorpe Runners Club was set up with a simple aim: to create an accessible, judgement-free running club within the village for the whole community to enjoy. Their collective efforts to take part in a Couch to 5K in late 2025 provided a huge confidence boost for many members. You can join anytime by meeting the group in The Rec car park at 18:45pm, with optional drinks at the bar after the run.
