Open Mic Nights are coming to Copmanthorpe!
Join us at The Rec for the first night launch of our open mic night, hosted by Ramshackled who are a huge part of the York music community.
Whether you’re performing or supporting, you can expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere, a supportive crowd, and great Yorkshire talent to listen to!
Our first night runs on Friday 20th March from 8pm, within rolling monthly on the 3rd Friday of every month.
Come on down, bring your friends, and be part of something special at The Rec.
York Foodbank Drop-Off Week - March
We are proud to now be working with York Foodbank to provide a local drop-off point within Copmanthorpe, where people can drop off items in the village within a monthly timeslot which we will then take up to their depot for drop-offs.
Easter Trail 2026
Easter Trail is back for 2026! Join us for a trail around the Recreation Centre, and pick up an Easter egg from the bar when you are done. One ticket per child - adults are free to join.
This event will run between 12pm - 5pm, where you can choose when you arrive during that time.

Copmanthorpe Carer’s Group provides a monthly get-together providing extra support for carers. Enjoy tea & a slice of cake, as well as the occasional guest speaker who can offer helpful advice. No need to book, just turn up.
